Can not sleep

So from time to time actually many times I get woken up and can not get back to sleep. I will stay awake for hours wishing I would fall asleep and knowing that I will have a miserable start of the day because I will be so tired until I can take a nap. I feel old sometimes cause I take naps all the time. I end up going to bed late also because at night I can do what ever I want with no interruptions. So I sit here awake reading friends blogs and smell the wonderful aroma of skunk. That is such a great smell, its like you can taste it and it just sits on the back or your tongue. So on that note it makes me think of when Jeremy and I hit a skunk many years ago and it was so very bad because we were instantly covered in the smell. I had a backpack full of clothes and they or course got it too. I was sent to the garage when I go home not sure what happened after that but it took forever to get the smell out of his car. My dog has also been sprayed like 5 times, the last time was when we had just gotten our carpet laid in our new house. Great tip if your dog gets sprayed DO NOT WET THE DOG. Just give it a bath in tomato juice or ketchup. The smell doesn't completely go away but it does in few weeks. Wow you just never know what can come out of your brain when you start to write, who would have thought I would sit down and type about skunks and that you would get to read it. So off to sleepy land where I will most likely think some more about nothing or maybe I will fall asleep.

Four months old

Emily is now 4 months old. She is such a big girl and I just get a kick out of her. She actually rolled over yesterday but she keeps getting her arm stuck underneath her when she does roll, but she did it. A couple of days ago she cut her cornea, sliced it right down the middle. It was so sad to see her like that including since she just had her 4 month check up and got three shots. She is a trooper and is just fine.

Happy 31st Birthday Jeremy

Jeremy had his birthday a couple of weeks ago and he is now 31. We had a little party with family and friends and had the best tri-tip. It was so good and I must say that the Cross family can cook!!!
