Legoland

Of course Jeremy's favorite super hero, Batman

Lady firewomen putting her lipstick on. Jeremy had to take a picture of this one.

LegoLand

When we get fires in San Diego or California for that matter the theme parks as a thank you give Firefighter and their families free admission. So here we are at Legoland for the first time. We all enjoyed it. Janay who is our cousin had been there before but it was about 4 years ago. This place was so amazing because everything was made out of Lego's.

Well this time of year is very exciting to us because Brianna is almost two years old. I think she will appreciate this time of year a little better than last year. Like the lights and presents and just all the things that Christmas brings. She already has a lit purple Christmas tree in her room which she loves and the lights must be turned on right when she wakes up in the morning. I also put up a few more lights for her to enjoy. We are also going to Disneyland next week and Knotts Berry Farm which will be so much fun for her and all of us. We are going and her grandparents along with her 2 uncles will be going also so it will be a blast. I am sure next year will be even better because she will be closer to three but Christmas and all the holidays are just so much more fun again. Also in December the 26th we get to find out if we are having a boy or a girl. I will already be 5 months pregnant, time is going by so fast. Jeremy and I are excited to had to our little family who knew it would be this much fun!

Happy Holloween

So we went trick-or-treating last night. Brianna took me and her Grandma Martha with her. She was dressed as Tinker Bell and looked so very cute. She did a good job going house to house and didn't want to leave their house after they gave her candy. Of course she ate many pieces of candy and was sucking on a lolly pop and getting angry cause she could not get her teeth into it. After trick or treating we went to a church carnival where she got more candy. For her birthday we are going to have a fairy party so she will wear this for you second party. Yes, Grandma Martha is already planning the big event.

Who is this girl?

Yes it is me! Some may not approve of the new look but I felt like being crazy. I have been wanting to dye my hair brown for a few years and I decided to surprise Jeremy. Yesterday I went down to my hair salon and told the girl what I wanted, " I want it brown, yes brown, no I dont want highlights"Again and again the hair dressers give my highlights they do not under stand "dye it brown" no one would take me seriously. It seems to be okay for people to go blonde why cant I go brown, Right? So here I am and my new look. Dont worry I will be a blonde again. It always grows out. If you would like to see more scroll down.

Hello Everyone

Well here I am again another month has come and gone and everyone is going back to school. Most schools around here are starting September 4. There will be smells of new shoes and new clothes walking on every campus from pre-school to college. My thought is more room for me at the beach. YEAH! This summer has gone very fast and I wish the heat would leave with it. I find it so ridiculous that fall clothes are in now. Why do they do that? Then again great summer clothes go on sale. It is also funny to see Halloween costumes in stores now also. I remember as a little kid either in Germany or New York having to wear a coat over my costume. What happened to a cold fall. Here in San Diego it heats up in August and before then you don't need a fan, its pretty comfortable all day. But August rolls around and heat blows in and stays for a few months. It wouldn't be so bad if we had air conditioners. I don't know very many people that do have them. The older homes or communities just don't have them. If you live in the east part of the county its newer (maybe 70's ) and they have air conditioners and rightly so it usually hits a 100 degrees. So in our homes it will be in the 90's. Yes I said, "in our homes." Someday we will get air conditioning. As for my family Jeremy is on both of his feet and ready to go back to work. He still has pain in his foot but its his heel and ankle that hurt and not the repaired broken bone. He actually went to church camp as a counselor for a week and had fun with no crutches. Oh and most important he is officially a paramedic!!! The graduation was for the class but he has taken his scary test (national registry) and passed. We are just waiting for the license to come in the mail. As for Brianna she is 17 1/2 months old. Almost a 1 and a half. I cant believe how fast time goes. She is talking up a storm with new words all the time. She can now repeat the word you say too her. She is very good at saying please, "peese, peeeeese, peeeeeese" Its gets her stuff. Anyway she had all these words in her head and just started saying them. Oh and she had her first hair cut. She had an inch and a half cut off, what a big girl. Well I think I have written enough I will write soon or later.

Goodbye July

Jeremy's brothers
Proud Daddy
Happy and proud family!
Paramedic Firefighter Cross

Well this month a few things happened, Jeremy and I celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary and Jeremy graduated paramedic school. His internship ended a few months ago but the graduation was later. He still needs to take one more test which is the national registry test and then he can recieve his license. It has been a tough year for both of us because Jeremy was basically not home for a year. All he did was eat and sleep paramedic school. When he would sleep at home he would literally wake up after dreaming about drug doses and running a call in his sleep. Jeremy is doing well with his broken foot , he is working in an office which has helped him prepare for the testing. He is starting to walk without crutches and we will soon be able to go on a vacation when he is back at work. We were suppose to go on an Alaskan cruise a couple of weeks ago and we had a medical emergency that lead us to canceling our trip. If any of you go on a cruise get insurance I am so glad we did because we are all getting a full refund. You just never know what can happen. Brianna is doing well she is 16 months old and getting smarter everyday. This is a fun time since she understands so much more and can do so many more things. She loves going to the beach and just loves being outside. Well happy August and happy birthday Sarah. So glad you are here in San Diego for a little while.

Happy 4th

Happy fourth of July I hope everyone enjoyed this day. It is always a nice time with family and food and fireworks if its not to crowded to see them. Its probably best to just go on your roof and watch them from there.

A few tips

So a friend of mine said she read in a magazine that baby powder will take off sand and well we went to the beach and it really works great. Just sprinkle it on your hands or whatever and the sand comes right off. It works great, thanks Julie!

Another thing I think works great at the beach is when you are in the salty ocean and you hit a nice wave that take you under always have a jolly rancher in your mouth and the salt won't bother you so much. Then again I suppose you run the risk of joking on it when you are shoved by the wave.

Broken Jeremy

Hi all this is Jeremy taking over from Jeanette for a little post. If you are all wondering why I'm sporting the stylish new foot wear, I decided that I wanted to spend time behind a desk instead of at a station so. Yea its broken, and to top it off the doc said its called a Jones fracture, named for the guy that broke his foot in this place. The part that is broken is the bone on the outside portion of the foot. It in the thickest part of the bone and in the part of the foot that gets the least amount of blood flow. So it will take a long time to heal. 6-9 weeks. Ain't it cool. You are probably wondering how it happened. Well, we were in a structure fire on a rescue with reports of people trapped. I was half way into the building when we heard a rumbling. I dove forward to escape the collapsing roof. I wasn't fast enough so my left foot was smashed by some falling debris. I got to my knees freed my foot and continued with the rescue. Cool Story huh? What really sucks I made up that story to cover the lame truth. I really did it running at work. Stepped on a rock the wrong way and there you have it. What makes things worse is that it was broken for a week and I didn't know it. I thought it was just sprained until I was at work again and took a step to run and felt a pop. So for 2 weeks now Jeanette is the only able bodied adult in the house and she can't wait for my foot to get better.

Introduction

So I have been wanting to do this blog thing for a while since two of my friends have their own page and I love to check them out to see what is happening in their lives. I mostly love to look at the pictures and see how big the kids are getting. So Jeremy and I have been married now for almost 7 years. It will be 7 years July 16th. Now we have this cute little girl named Brianna. She is 15 months and all over the place. So here is the beginning of hopefully an interesting, fun and happy page for all our family and friends to check out.
